These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in gCash, the loyalty rewards program operated by GenieDeals (“GenieDeals”, “we”, “us”, “our”) through geniedeals.in. gCash means “Genie Cash” — the Program’s reward currency, which can only be used with our Genie Partners against applicable Genie Price Offers. These Terms apply to Genieans (individual members who earn and redeem gCash) and to Genie Partners (vendors who post Genie Price Offers and accept gCash), with clauses marked where they apply to only one group. By enrolling as a Geniean, onboarding as a Genie Partner, accepting these Terms during sign-up, or by earning, redeeming, or accepting gCash, you (“you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Program.

Employees of GenieDeals may be excluded from participation as Genieans where applicable law or company policy requires.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Members earn gCash on eligible purchases and activities as described on geniedeals.in or the app at the time of the transaction. Earn rates, eligible categories, and bonus promotions may vary by Genie Partner, product, or time period and are subject to change with notice as described in Changes to the Program.

gCash has no cash value until redeemed in accordance with these Terms, is non-transferable except where we expressly permit transfers, and cannot be purchased, sold, or exchanged for cash outside the Program.

• Accumulated gCash may be redeemed for rewards, discounts, or credit as made available through the Program at any given time
• gCash can only be used or redeemed with our Genie Partners, against applicable Genie Price Offers — it has no value outside the Genie Partner network
• A minimum balance may be required before redemption is permitted
• Redemptions are generally final once processed; reversal is available only where a transaction is cancelled or refunded in accordance with the underlying purchase’s return policy
• We reserve the right to set redemption limits per transaction or per period to prevent abuse

Each batch of gCash you earn expires 90 days from the date it is credited to your account, regardless of subsequent account activity, unless a different period is stated in the app at the time that gCash is earned. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before expiry through the app, email, or SMS. Expired gCash cannot be reinstated except at our discretion.

Manipulating the Program through fraudulent transactions, fake referrals, automated account creation, misrepresented Genie Price Offers, or any other form of abuse — by a Geniean or a Genie Partner — is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to reverse improperly earned gCash, withhold pending redemptions or settlements, close the associated account, and pursue any remedies available under law.

This clause applies to merchants and businesses that participate in the Program as Genie Partners and post Genie Price Offers to Genieans.

• All creative content submitted for a Genie Price Offer post must follow GenieDeals’ brand and content guidelines. We may reject, edit, or take down any post that does not comply.
• GenieDeals has the full right to remove or cancel any Genie Partner from the Program at any time, at our sole discretion, if we believe the Genie Partner’s conduct affects or is likely to affect consumer trust or experience.
• Genie Partners are responsible for submitting their Genie Price Offer to GenieDeals on or before the 25th of each month for that offer to be considered for posting in the following calendar month.
• Genie Partner plan activation and migration will take effect only upon receipt of upfront payment, processed on a calendar-month basis.
• All Genie Partner subscription payments must be made upfront, before the start of the relevant subscription period.
• Where GenieDeals changes a Genie Plan, the change will apply to new subscriptions going forward, and may also be applied to existing Genie Partners’ ongoing subscriptions at GenieDeals’ discretion.

We may modify earn rates, redemption options, expiry rules, Genie Plans, or any other feature of gCash, or suspend or discontinue the Program entirely, at our discretion. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes to Genieans and Genie Partners through the app, email, or SMS, except where these Terms state that a specific rule (such as referral limits, Genie Price Offer availability, or gCash expiry) may change without prior notice. Continued use of gCash, or continued participation as a Genie Partner, after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

gCash rewards and Genie Price Offers are provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GenieDeals is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from participation in the Program, including loss of gCash due to expiry, account inactivity, technical errors, or discontinuation of the Program, or loss of business arising from Genie Price Offer availability or Genie Plan changes. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

The gCash name, logo, and all related branding, along with geniedeals.in and the app through which the Program is offered, are the property of GenieDeals and its licensors. Neither Genieans nor Genie Partners may use them without our prior written consent.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the dispute resolution process below, the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms or the Program, whether raised by a Geniean or a Genie Partner.

If a dispute arises out of or relating to these Terms or the Program, the parties will first attempt to resolve it informally by contacting our support team. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through arbitration conducted in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in the English language, before a sole arbitrator.

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, complaints from Genieans and Genie Partners regarding the Program may be directed to our Grievance Officer.
